Driving Change for Cleaner Air in Nairobi

Supported by Breathe Cities, this workshop brings together matatu and boda boda drivers, SACCOs, and fleet owners to tackle one of Nairobi’s biggest environmental challenges: vehicular emissions, which account for nearly 40% of the city’s air pollution.

Through training and dialogue, participants will learn about the health impacts of air pollution, their role in reducing it, and how to advocate for cleaner transport. The workshop also promotes a shift to e-mobility, regular vehicle servicing, and responsible fleet management to ensure roadworthy vehicles and a healthier future for all.
