Kentice Tikolo

With a deep-seated passion for the realm of Public Relations (PR) and Communication Management, Ms. Tikolo is a highly experienced PR and communications professional with a rich history of over 25 years in the field, spanning the public, private, and NGO sectors. She has previously served as a former member of the Global Alliance’s board, chaired the Public Relations Society of Kenya (PRSK), and is an active member of esteemed organisations like the International Public Relations Association, the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, and the African Public Relations Association.
Ms. Tikolo holds a Master of Science in Public Relations from the University of Stirling in Scotland, and she holds a Diploma in Public Relations from the International School of Marketing and Public Relations in London.
Endowed with the remarkable ability to merge her scientific background with the finesse of communication, Kentice has matured into a conscientious, hands-on, and strategic PR and communication management consultant and manager. She has effectively overseen stakeholder forums, training sessions, events, and campaigns spanning diverse sectors in countries such as Kenya, Ethiopia, Ghana, Rwanda, and Tanzania.
In 2017, Ms. Tikolo was recognized by the Kenyan Government with the Order of the Grand Warrior (OGW) award. She was also the recipient of the Golden Honours PRSK Award in 2014 for her outstanding contributions. Furthermore, she was honored with a silver medal by the Ethiopian government for her pivotal role in ensuring the success of the 2013 International Conference on AIDS and Sexually Transmitted Infections in Africa (ICASA) in Addis Ababa. Additionally, she received a PRSK award for her instrumental role in conceptualising and ensuring the success of Kenya’s First Lady’s Half Marathon and the Beyond Zero Campaign, both initiatives aimed at enhancing maternal and child health in Kenya.
